Exciting things are on the horizon for Veramendi residents! The Outlook will offer a private retreat featuring a resort-style pool, sports court, and indoor gathering space — all with stunning views of Word Park. Designed for both relaxation and recreation, this resident amenity will be the perfect spot to unwind after a run on the trails or to host a family get-together. And with more parks in our future, the outdoor adventure will only keep growing.
Coming soon is our first regional park, Word Park. As the first of two planned regional parks in our connected park system, Word Park was designed to create an authentic Hill Country experience. Word Park is expected to be a premier destination for recreation, education, and wellness, offering a space for the community to connect with nature in the greater New Braunfels area.

Named in honor of the Word family who have carefully preserved and cared for the land since 1941, Word Park embodies the rich history of Veramendi. Planned to reflect the needs of Veramendi residents and the New Braunfels community, Word Park will cater to multi-generational groups. This one-of-a kind destination will be a place to explore, play, and connect with the outdoors-all just minutes from home. As development progresses, we can’t wait to share more about what’s in store for this park. Get ready for something truly special!
